Review – Gemma Goggin, Gilded Balloon

Gemma Goggin
Sex is hardly an uncharted topic for comics and there’s little new or unique about the perspectives that Gemma Goggin brings to the debate.

We are treated to 50 minutes of gags which, while amusing enough, never really elevate themselves to the point of being laugh out loud funny or truly insightful.

Dating websites, coffee equaling sex, men and women playing by different res, acting out the karma sutra with sex dolls – it’s all fine, and funny enough (not to mention cringeworthy enough) if you’re there, but nothing memorable.
